How to raise awareness on children?
Looking at the tweets of the #onlinehatemooc, I found a link I consider of paramount importance: it is the one related to Quizzes online hate speech. In my view, a good way of raising awareness about this problem in our students is to present them with some materials in which they can find out what is hate speech in social nets. One of the matters that worries me is that when I make comments about some examples of hate speech or about the risks of being faced with them in the net our youngsters assume it with naturality, as if it was something normal and, because of that, acceptable. Unless we manage to make them aware of the situation we will find difficulty in dealing with the matter.
